Enemy Terriroty

Well we survived our trip into enemy territory this weekend. The girls were tortured a bit and so were Brian and I. Even though we had to watch the Packers win Super Bowl XLV, it was a great weekend at Duck Lake!

Old Man Winter

February is just around the corner and it is the worst month of the year for me. I always get a little down in February, dreaming of green grass, the smell of fresh flowers blooming and lazy days at the lake. I know it is just around the corner, but I still just can't wait for spring. Good thing February is a short month! Thank goodness for the girls, they are going to make February not so depressing this year :-)

Who's your Mommy?

Alyssa is such a little mommy. She always wants to "help" with Bella. She wants to change her diaper, feed her and rock her to sleep. She knows Bella's schedule too. When I am making dinner for Alyssa, she will say "sister hungry too". When we get ready in the morning to go to grandma's, she helps put Bella's coat and boots on. She is such a sweet and patient 2 year old.

Trick Photography

Since I am the photographer (and I use that term loosely) around here, I have very few pictures of me and the girls. That bums me out - so this is what I end up with:

I guess it is better than nothing. At least now they will know I was around when they grow up.

Toofers

Briella's first two teeth popped through this week - we call them toofers around here. I remember not too long ago when toofers meant a whole different thing - I would of spelled it "twofors" back then. Ahhh, those were the days - but I wouldn't change a thing!
